Residents Wayne & Wax and DJ Flack
-
Its been awhile since the BR residents have had a chance to throw down some extened mixes of the "experimental party music" that has made this night what it is.

Come and celebrate the end of Summer in Style with some serious DJ heat as these two avid beat scientists pull together as many styles as possible including (but not limited to) hiphop, dubstep, bhangra, garage, jungle, funk carioca, cumbia, techno, dancehall, boston bounce and on and on and on...

Making the Noise?
-
"Making the noise is the alias for Adam Ribaudo, a Boston-based producer who delivers cerebral electronic music that varies from lush airy sonicscapes to dirty glitchy beats. Using an assortment of custom or self-made software and hardware components, including the monome, he keeps his music organic and spontaneous. Mtn makes laptop music that doesn't hide behind the laptop.

MTN just finished a couple projects including an East coast tour as well as his debut album which you can find here

KINGDOM (Brooklyn)
-
Kingdom is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ (and Mass native) whose signature sets and productions have been gathering a rabid following since he released his first mixtape in 2006. Since then, DJs from Diplo to BBC’s Annie Mac have given his tracks spins, and with his recent signing to Fools Gold Records and the video for his debut single “Mind Reader” airing on MTV2, there’s no doubt that Kingdom is the young American producer to watch.

Kingdom may play everything from kuduro to juke, but R&B is his first love, and it shows in his bass-heavy remixes and original tracks, often featuring R&B vocal samples on top of his trademark production style—what some have called “a Brooklyn take on the UK garage sound.”

September 20th
DJ Messiah
& Balagan (Baltimore)
-
Josiah Simmons (aka DJ Messiah) has been holding it down in the bean for awhile now, rocking his own productions at clubs around town as well as curating his own crazy house party concerts/art events at his loft in J.P. which hosts alternative hip-hop and rock acts that are looking for a place to let loose and express themselves beyond the confines of your typical club scene.

Sam Hopkins is a Kansas-bred, Baltimore-based global music explorer who selects and produces tracks as Balagan. He's also the drummer in Bmore band Lo Moda, which is about to release a new EP this fall.

September 27th = DJ Nile and MetalKT
