DJ C (Chicago)
-
The man who started Beat Research 6 years ago w/ Flack is making a rare Boston appearance tonight from his new home in the Chi.
A party rocker who has spun sets all over the globe and released heavy bass bangers on labels like; NinjaTune, Soul Jazz, XJ recordings, Tigerbeat 6, Man Recordings etc.. but most improtantly on his own Mashit label which legendary BBC Radio 1 host John Peel chose as a "label of the month" right before his death in October 04. Check out this MIX of Mashit tracks which that occasion spawned courtesy of the BBC.
All Boston Massive come out and represent for the father of Boston Bounce who has been bringing the crazy genre blending (and bending) science of Beat Research to the MidWest through his killer Bouncement parties which have featured the likes of; Starkey, Zulu, Chrissy Murderbot, whoa-B, Poirier, Maga Bo, David Last, Kingdom and more.
